I think (not sure) its Long boom Mass Excavator? Not 100% so please correct. Mark

LME is Long undercarriage and Mass Excavation....basically a short boom and dipper normally with a big bucket!

ME's also have different rams, have much higher breakout forces than a standard hex.

L - long undercarriage
N - Narrow undercarriage (not seen much in UK)
LN - Long Narrow u/c

ME - Mass excavator
MH - Material handler

H = heavy duty.Renforced linkage points on boom etc on boom.
My old Hitachi was a ZX350 LCH,but the one i have now is a ZX350 LC.
2004 Hit ZX350,9556 hrs
2007 ZX350/3,6000 hrs,now with just over 10000 hrs!!!
