No Matias Hymac is not back and will not be making a comeback of any kind; production of machines finished in 1993 twenty years ago now.

When Hymac first manufactured its 480 hydraulic excavator it was unique in this country and a new technology, nowadays there are many manufacturers and with the best will in the world it would be no easy task to introduce a new excavator to the market.

Furthermore the chap who has wrongly registered the Hymac brand name does not understand anything about the law or the manufacture of hydraulic excavators, the only company that is legally attached to Hymac is; Hymac Parts & Service Ltd, see below;

To be fair I have not heard anymore from Tonyhymac; it is still Richard Gould that owns Hymac Parts & Service which is what remains of the original Hymac company, although Tony Flint of Flint Services and Graham supply parts for Hymac machines but there is very limited stock of parts for machines left these days, that being said they are easy to mend in most instances. :thumbup:
