Here are some shots of a Cat 312B that I was operating for Callington based contractor M.J Troup some years ago on a site in Okehampton Devon.
A nice smooth machine to operate but I found that it could of done with a few more horses under the bonnet

Must say I didn't see any signage as to whom the machine belongs to, Humphries normally have their trade mark signs up and the site fenced off but this machine was sat by the road side and I was free to wander upto it and take pics which makes a pleasant change.

Re: CAT Excavators
Perhaps who ever owns it left it thee hoping some kind person would half inch (pinch) it. Looks like its seen better days.
Looks like a solid piece of equipment though. Whats the weight of it? looks to be around the size of a JS220 or EC210

Well Joe I think that Stuart Bickley would be able to tell you the exact weight of the machine, and as for seeing better days its an old machine thats being used on demo work so its having a hard time for an oldie I think only quarry work or scrapyard usage is harder on a machine.

Re: CAT Excavators
I can see why its looks it age. All the demo machines ive seen are the modern machines none like this. Ive only ever seen one like this. It was an ex stokey 245 working in surrey with a big grapple on it.
