Not heard anything about them cracking, We did have one that kept unlocking itself every now and again but that was a Manufacturing error! I do have to say that the New Miller twinlock ii is the best quickhitch ive used but they can be a bit of a bugger to take off when using with a set of Miller Scoop buckets!

Cracking is quite common and depending on the hitch can mean the end of it. Usually caused by loose buckets rattling around, also usual stuff like hydraulic hammers being used.
