Hitachi Zaxis 80SBlc

Post #1 by Jim M » Thu Nov 26, 2009 1:12 pm

These are pictures from a job i did for one of my neighbours back in 2008. These people had just recently purchased this piece of land for there horses and they asked me if could get a machine in to clear an area so they could mark out a plot for a stable block. So over a weekend i hired a Hitachi Zaxis 80SBlc from my local hire centre Morris Leslie Ltd in Saltash,Cornwall. Friday night machine was delivered to the field and i started the following morning. Being old farm land i came across all sorts of metal including, an old Bedford TK lorry axle complete with tyre's but buried about 6 feet down :eh: :wtf: , good job we had a scrap bin handy  8-) . Over that weekend i must of shifted over 300tons of earth with this machine, shame the hydraulic lock-out lever pushes into your left leg all day :arrrrgh:

More pics to follow

Jim :)
