Michael is a very active member on Maskinisten and he and Holger has tried to find more information about the Bröyts without any success.
That´s a little confusing as we talk about a Norwegian make and we have lots of Norwegian members on Maskinisten but there are very little information to find about them.
So any info will be appreciated by our Scandinavian members!

Back in the late 60's Tarmac had two Broyts working in Scotland, similar to the one shown being moved by the truck, but with a more rounded cab design.

They had both faceshovel and backhoe front ends for them.

That looks like the machine! Thanks for posting.

The places the operators could get them to go was unbelievable!

A large sand and gravel company in the area had one on demo to replace their Priestman Wolf/Tiger faceshovels and the operators were all in favour - until they were told that they would loose their half-day Saturday maintenance. The Broyts were never seen back in the pits again!!
