Pete from memory the two lower ones are connected to the two center levers to enable foot control, the one at the far side of the cab is the brake pedal, they did not have automatic brakes, you have to pump up the pedal and close a gate valve to hold the brakes on.

Andy the worn tracks were all re-bushed with new pins that took the wear out of them; the trouble is that a former owner had removed two track pads from each side to remove the wear so the machine needed four new track pads, these were machined from solid steel blocks and I must say they have made a first class job of them.

Sadly there are no photographs of how the tracks were repaired but if you have Tony Flints number then give him a call he is very helpful. I have covered an article for this in one of the forthcoming Classic Plant & Machinery magazines.

Yes Pete I got a go in this machine at the Chipping Steam Fair before its restoration but you get used to the controls they're 'push-pull' levers, she's got the earlier 6 cylinder Ford engine in her the one where the injection pump is driven off a shaft from the timing casing, I forget the model number now.
