Took these couple of pictures not far from where I snapped the large yellow crane - on the river Wear.
I've been looking around for a pdf of a CAT 345C and a 345CLME to compare stat's but I haven't found a pdf for either, nor do I have either of those in my brochure collection which is a shame!

Re: More snapshots - loading rocks onto a barge for sea defences
I was fortunate to be working up boldon way and got wind of a 375 and 988 working off a barge at Jarrow When i got there i found the 345 working it was picking 2 pieces or rock up at a time and placing them in the appropriate position. I spoke to the foreman who said i'd missed the 375 and 988 but i got some pics of the 345 which was not a bad consolation
When was the 375 working at Staithes xs650?
Regards

Staithes pic was Summer 2006. Handling rock like this looks to be very hard on machines.
Got some pics of Scarborough sea defence work somewhere ,the loading shovel driver used to drive around on two front wheels with enormous rocks in bucket lifting rear end.
