From the angle the top cover looks fairly short? perhaps a V6

Andrew Wilkins near Chippenham. No flies on Mr Wikins but he seemed a straight sort of dealer when I bought an old bale wrapper from him. The 814 must be older than 1990.

The later 800 Powerslide series (yellow cab design) were late 80's/earlier 90's prior to the launch of the JS-range. This must be somewhere around 86/87 as it was the "standard" 814 before that unless it was a really late model.

I have an early brochure for the 802 dated 1984 so must have been early 1980's then. I also remember reading somewhere that this machine wasn't a JCB design either, but a re-badged Kubota? Since I can't find the source of that information, I can't vouch for it but it wouldn't surprise me too much since it was JCB's first attempt to break into that market.

I wasn't sure if you were just after a picture of the machine on the front page or the whole thing so...minus the last page which doesn't really have much information anyway here's the front page, the link under that takes you to my photobucket account and the other 3 pages. I do apologies for the picture quality; its very overcast at the moment! There's a few other brochures on there as well, used a scanner for those though.

I do hope this helps.

Not sure of the exact dates of JCB 801.4 model production but actions of the machines I've found range from late 1990's to around 2003/2004.

I agree that the JCB 802 does look pretty similar to the Kubota KH-28, you may be onto something there! Thanks.
