Hymac 580C control l;ever conversion
Is it possible to find original Hymac pilot pressured control levers to fit onto my Hymac 580C with normal machanical linkage levers? I believe the pilot pressured control levers were first fitted to later models like Hymac 890 and 690.

Pilot controls were also fitted to the 580CT but whether or not they are still available is anybody's guess, it depends on who the manufacturer was?

Yes Andy from Scandinavia converted his 580B to pilot controls just look under the excavators thread but that was using an after market kit and not using original Hymac controls; I also believe that he used cable linkage.

I thought as I was replacing the cab on my Hymac 580C I would see if it was possible to change the control levers. I think I may leave it for now and continue on with more important jobs on the machine.

Hej Black! The easiest way to change the controlls is to use cable joysticks. Whith weaker springs in the valveblocks the machine gets like a servo operated machine. And u get a modern controlpattern
