Hi all, I recently bought an old 3c 11 jcb... That needs a good bit of work done to it.. It was parked up the last 20 years or so... I got it home and after a few hours I got it started. The engine seems to run smoothly. I've a few questions if any one can point me in the right direction. Excuse my lack of knowledge on these machines, the problems I'm having is, there has been a few bits taken off it over the years that I'll have to replace. There's a few hose that Im to sure where there ment to go, I've down loaded a manual and it's a good held but theres a lot not in it... Can anyone tell me where the circled hose is ment to connect to.. Thanks

Hi and welcome Liam  somebody on here will be able to offer you some good advice  I would start simple by changing the fluids if the machine has stood for a long period then there may well be water ingress, plenty of these old machines about so used parts should not be an issue, sorry I can't tell you where the pipe fits but somebody else should have an idea of what it does. Good luck let us know how you progress.

Jeremy

Hi thanks for the welcome. Yes it's connected to the bottom of the tank.. When I remove the hose no fluid came out of the spout... Theres a 1 way valve on the top of the hose where it connects to the spout... I also put and airline on to the spout to try blow it clear but no luck.. Would i be right in thinking that thats where the diesel return hose is ment to go?
