Hi there,

a member over at Maskinisten is looking for infos on Poclain TX50P 1974.
I cannot find ANYTHING on the net about that machine. Does it exist?

Holger Poclain did make a TX model from what I can recall it was a wheeled machine similar to the TYS in looks (from memory) what info is he looking for?

He is looking for all info he can get about the machine. Maybe a brochure to start with, or specs.

I may have a brochure for the TX I will look later and see.

At this moment in time the only Poclain TX pictures I can put my hand on are these; I may have some other info on it but will have to look it out. Just browsed through one of my books the TX was powered by a Deutz F3L912 engine, the machine weighs 11 tonnes, production commenced in 1971.

Looks to me like a rubber tyred version of the TCS. It was certainly produced in the same era, similar weight and same engine

Yes Fred it was all part of the TY/TC/TP/TX range the most successful being the TY45 all models in this range totalled 29,022 built with the TY45 being the most popular out of them, when you consider that Hymacs entire production was just over 16,000 it gives you some idea of just how many machines Poclain made, mind nothing compared with today's production figures for top construction machinery manufacturers.
