Re: Another Excavator ID question
Any chance of a picture from the other side? I'm almost tempted to say Mitsubishi myself but I'm not entirely convinced...
Look out that window, Eden isn't burning. Its burnt.

No thats it , its from a film, the famous film Tiang-Ling-Ling ,di-ling-ling . !!
It's on the the IMCDB site where people id the vehicles in films , curiously addictive!
If you have looked for a vehicle picture on Gogle images you will have seen something from IMCDB.

There is a German guy there with a messianic desire to id every 360deg excavator and this is the only one outstanding.
The panelwork is a distinctive shape so sure someone will get it eventually.

That German guy certainly has his work cut out for him. I've been onto that site and its quite a treasure trove of information; a real credit to all those who've submitted pictures and identified the vehicles portrayed.
It does look like a Mitsubishi design to me. I was looking this morning at it maybe being the CAT E70B 7tonner, but the bodywork is subtly different...bearing in mind however the E70B is a later E-series machine from the late 80/early 90 period. Maybe there's an older, similar sized Cat/Mitsubishi machine which I'm not aware of?

You might have something with Mitusbishi , there are definte styling cues with this MA03 mini, but can't find anything bigger.
Regards Cat / Mitsubishi think they had a tie up at one time .
