Interesting photos :thumbup:

Looks a complicated job those arms bet that added a few quid to the base machine cost. Are they on another UK job or sat waiting to be sold. Might be along wait for HS2 job:roll: to start tunnelling operations & Crossrails more boring machine or cut and cover type of ground i think.

Would a design like that be useful for anything else but tunneling projects, something like quarrying or even underground mining (albeit probably a smaller machine than a 944)?

It never ceases to amaze me just how versatile an excavator platform really is. :bow:
