Some interesting machines there Stefan - Look like an American Grade-all design ;)

Like the machine built on a T55 tank and the more conventional truck mounted machine. Never see them in the UK these days.

See they are agents for Scott Trac machines as well.

nice clear web site, but why do foreign companies pay for fancy moving graphics but not for a real translator for the text, as most obviously use translation software which produces strange non English text ? and spoils the effect. (But i suppose our companies do the same).

thanks for greeting to all

to Martyn Henley: yes, I am Slovak

to BulldozerD11: you are right -the self-propelled SATUR 050k, built in 1966 in PPS Detva factory, the predecessor of later UDS, was "inspired" by Gradal.
New conception was the truck mounted UDS excav. - mounted exclusivelly on the undercarriage of Czech TATRA truck. /Slovakia up to 1993 was part of former Czechoslovakia/.- and replaced the older truck mounted cable excavs.

It is clear, you couldn´t see them in UK - they was sold at home and on market
of so called "eastern block countries" - espec. in Russia.
....maybe better time is coming...

UDS in comparison with Gradal has 360 deg endless rotation of bucket

some videos:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rezR2i1Uzh8&NR=1
demonstration of stability /without support. legs/ - TATRA truck has patented system of frameless structure with central backbone tube and independent suspension of halfaxles, which allows permanent contact all of wheels in uneven terrain.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l1AZwOag2tQ
control of truck from the operator cab - "one man show"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FpTSLIYw ... re=related
UDS helps truck to overcome heavy terrain

sorry for my not perfect English

Thanks Stefan

Sorry dont take the comment about bad English personaly.

It was just an observation that many companies spend a lot of money on web sites to attract customers, but end up looking a bit amateur by not checking what they write on it makes sense to the target market.

Hi Swishy

Good brochure, wonder how many actualy sold as extra cost and complexity will put buyers off. For a few special operations probably justifiable but most of the 'tasks' no great advantage. A few special rotating boom machines used in tunnels, or digging access shafts (but oftem with a grab to get reach).
