Hello Geraint,
I don't mean to be a smart alek, but the Wimpey Cat 5130s you mention were only at Ffos Las in Carway.1 x shovel and one x backactor, paired with Cat 785s,Cat 785Bs and Cat 777s.
Hope this is of some help.
Regards,
Mark. :D

Stuart,

That is a surprise!

I did a bit of welding on Grant's stuff and never thought he had anything of that size, 65 ton was about the size I remember.

Update: Today I was speaking to an ex-Grant operator and he confirmed that Stuart is correct and that they did indeed have a 5130 and it worked on a OCCS in Ayrshire, which is farther south than I ever saw grant's stuff!

He was actually surprised that Grant bought the backhoe version, being a dyed-in-the-wool faceshovel user, with three 245 faceshovels among their other gear.
