Shorts had one of their EX1800 machines working in at Dalquandy opening it up while Crouch were still waiting on the rest of their 120's to arrive. Must have been early 90's

That would be about right! Thanks.

How time flies!!

Great picture of the mountains, Ross, pity about the pile of junk in the forground.

.....Just joking honestly !!
What would cause a machine like that to go to the bone yard, no longer big enough or mechanical problems ?

Great photo Ross , very topical with the snow.

Make a good Classic plant Calendar shot for December or January's page Just need 11 more with a suitable twist to each ;)

Glad you liked the pic guy's.

I am not sure but I think it's P&H 1900?

I dont go to this mine very often (637 Scraper Job that day .. YUK  )

I think they shut em down because they cannot produce like the new 4100XPB's they run now. They are buying Haul-pak 930E's as well and these little shovel's cannot fill them quick enough.

Pic of the other shovel with the stick off.

Few mountain pic's .. Just never get tired of the view.

Great scenery there Ross

Bet thing don't grind to a halt out there, unlike over here were when it snows a couple of inches the whole country (London & the South ;) ) grind to a halt according to the media.

Cheers

Lucky I don't work at that site. I wouldn't get any work done with that view. Awesome pics.
