i have to batter the sides of the quarry and fill in the silt ponds the digger in the bottom of the hole is a 22m long reach 340 from h e services it will finnish on friday and i will be there on my own i think the d6 will be busy for a couple of days

Would this be Venn quarry,Landkey,Devon???It looks like it.I spent 6 mths there in 2005.We were striping in the main quarry,& tipping up the top,by the looks of it where your standing taking the photos.Coming up the haul road to the right of the photos,which was fun in the wet (see A25E post)We had our ZX850,ZX350(mine now)EC210B & Cat 320B,D8R & D8K,5 A25D`s,1 A30D & a Coles A25C.
The last i heard,Venn shut in 2006,& i saw the A35C`s they had at Broadpath quarry in 06 when i was there.
