did some googling last night these Priestman diggers are a smart idea very clever who ever came up with the idea of the counter weight shifting keeping it stable
Does the boom and dipper fold up for transport or do they just hang the boom off the back of a float (low loader)

Dont think these ever came to Australia

If you had got the bulldozer up on the neck a bit more you could have sqeezed a third machine on there Clive  Great picture.

Re the tail swing, i was travelling late last year up the A1 and came across a tractor with a long plough on the back, i was following an Artic and noticed the tractor was going to turn left so i dropped back, The artic driver carried on passing the tractor which turned left and the plough swing out taking all of the plastic skirt out of the side of the artics trailer i was half expecting it to flip the tractor but it did'nt but there was certainly a lot of plastic flying through the air it could have been pretty nasty.

 hi Dave, the tail swing can really catch you out. With the rear steer on that trailer the back comes around really fast with about 5m of overhang! Plus you can't see it from the cab!

I got asked to hire the amphib and track dumper to the guy next door for the day. I just loved this photo......

Mixed them up again

The middle picture is of the two we've just finished. The shallow bits are rare plants, we didn't miss a load!

That last pic shows just how large a footprint the amphib has!, have you found anywhere you can't take her yet?

The bath is out of the question!

Seriously no. In really wet bog it works well but you have to pull yourself around if it's upto the turret. Mind you its generally deep then. We've done jobs in 4m of sh?t! Try taking your Doosan 140 in there!
