Roxwell gravel pit - 1960s

Here are some pics of CJ Pryor stripping overburden from the gravel pit at Roxwell near Chelmsford. Apologies for the poor quality - I was doing my own black and white processing at the time and the negs have been lying around for ages!

Yeah,top pics again Angus.I can see them better now!.
What's the crack with Pryor's at the moment,they seem to be selling just about everything in the resale weekley since the summer.Are they downsizing or retireing?

Is there any connection between CJ Pryor and the farming Pryor that started the Doe Triple D.
