It was so good to see these pictures and knowing all these men..I worked for Larry Webb for almost 3 years as an operator ,foreman and Plant inspector. My younger brother Dick also worked there and was very friendly with Ray, Tommy and Ming and Nobby .Unfortunately Dick passed away 2 years ago.Where are these people now I wonder? I worked for Webb's at Bristol Airport in Mar,68, first operating a IH 175 then a 631A Cable control scraper. We had 3 631's and then a new TS24 (number 9). We then went to Peterborough stripping overburden where Dick joined us. In Jan '69 we got a contract in Holyhead for the Aluminium Smelter. It was then that we got 3 new 631B's with cushion hitches,( the A's were traded in )also 2 rebuilt TS24's to go with number 9 and 3 TS14;s and a new Cat D9 plus a new Hyster C450 compactor. The 631's ,TS24's and D9 had to be shipped in by sea from Liverpool as they were too wide for the Menai bridge.I hope this sheds some light on Larry Webb company and I will answer any questions that I can. from Peter Sulley. If anyone wants to contact me please email me ...cataman2000@yahoo.com

They tipped one over and when it was dismantled in the workshop at staines there wernt much room for anything else !!
