Thanks,working on the D4 now.Only a few more jobs left on it and that one is ready for a repaint.

cracking looking machine, how long has that taken to complete?

It has taken about 18 months,but it was worked on now and again.
The roller was in very good order when I got it,all complete.It is ex council,well looked after machine.It had no wear in its steering.I had to sort out the cone clutch and brakes.It has a Ford 4 Cyl engine,that had not been run for many years.Its the same engine as fitted to a Ford Pop. car.I had to get the magnito reconditioned.Check the engine timing and make up a locking clamp.
I have located the original build instruction for the council spec for this roller.It was built 29 Aprill 1953.Photos show magneto and build document.I have also a set of road lamps to go with it.

What's your next project after the D4 ?

Its the 933 to complete,then the D2 for a good cleanup and service as I restored that one 13 years ago.Then its the Fordson Standard for a repaint as that was done 15 years ago.
And a strong possibility of a BTD6/BTD8 crawler in the future.
