Potential project - any pointers?
Hi guys. Looks like might be going to have some spare time on my hands from now on due to change in circumstances and am toying with the idea of doing a restoration (always been the intention to 1 day!) Aslong as its a crawler (preferably with 3 point linkage so it can be used) any ideas what would be a good 1st project and how best to find 1? Anything should be particulary aware of? know its gonna cost a £ or 2 but whats the sort of project thats gonna be most rewarding?

May be a Fordson Major crawler could be a good project.
Things to check for on a crawler is running gear.
Check magazines like Tractor and machinery and E bay.
You should pick up a fair machine for £850 to £1200.Fully restored machine will make around £3000
