Aveling Barford SD06 dumper restoration
Thanks to Craig for sending me scans of a brochure of these rare front whee steer dumpers, here’s some pics of the one I’m saving and restoring during lockdown! Built when British Leyland had a steer on things literally I’ve found out it has a Morris Marina axle, Morris minor halfshafts, MG Midget handbrake, Lockheed 8” brakes, Land Rover steering box and the gearbox manufacturer or vehicle use unknown as yet, if anyone recognises the make of gearbox please let me know, will keep you updated on progress
