Re: Jcb 3c mk3
Hi Pete,
Thanks for the compliment Pete Yes there was an opinion aired to dump the cab! But I resisted, it just wouldn't look right, a JCB without its white cab.
Ok I'll open up the debate; it’s probably been debated at length somewhere on CMN. Which colour yellow shall I paint the main machine with? Most of the pictures of restored JCB’s I’ve seen on here are the “New JCB Yellow” but some have said it should be the old “Lemon Chrome Yellow”. I have a preference. So what’s the feeling?
I await the barrages with anticipation!
Cheers
James.

James, definately keep it original The standard of your work so far is outstanding, if you keep it original, reselling a machine restored to the standard you seem to be going for will be very easy indeed. Of course, it all depends on how much your willing to spend on her. If you can afford to, go the whole hog!
Upload more pics in the near future, coming on to check if you'v uploaded anymore everyday, cant wait to see her finished! Im like a big kid

If you are going to a lot of trouble getting it right then match the original colours as best as is possible. (I am not a restorer or modeler so it is easy for me to say )
