I was thinking, Because all my pictures are around 700kb maybe the Photo uploader could shrink them?
Just an idea ......
Thanks

Re: Large Photo Compresser
Quite simple .. click on your pic ... click on edit .. click on images, scroll down to stretch/scew.. then a little box opens up with stretch horizontal and vertical ..in little box its 100... scrub that out and put in 50 and the little box underneath and that reduces the size of picture, then rename the picture and save and send it to your documents or pictures, close the picture and it will ask if you want to save changes, say no and it will save picture in its original size and you will have the smaller size picture as well... this is of course if your computer has windows paint.

Re: Large Photo Compresser
I just use Microsoft office picture manager, came with my PC, click on edit, resize then away you go.
On another note is it just me thats slow on the uptake or has anyone else noticed that if you click on the new pictures, they get bigger? Thought mine looked a bit small as i was posting them!

Another alternative photo editing software is Irfanview:
http://www.irfanview.com/
It is a photo editing program that is very good, very stable (never freezes or crashes the computer) if you ask me, very fast, very small in disk space and for free if you are satisfied with the free version. And the free version is actually very good and has all features that most of us need.
But it still needs to be installed.

Re: Large Photo Compresser
Yeah! I have changed the settings. New pictures are uploaded as thumbnails and are shown bigger when clicking o them!
I was tired of the destroyed page-layout when pictures are wider than the screen.
