LETS HAVE SOME ANSWERS BOYS

Post #1 by newjcb123uk » Sun Dec 20, 2009 12:38 am

I use CMN every day and have been browsing different features on the site recently - one of the things I can't believe is just how much unanswered posts there are

It takes time and effort for anybody to create a thread - especially if you have to take the time to scan resize and upload photos - I feel that all members should at least try and leave a comment as best they can - not only is it polite if it's a subject that you've looked at and enjoyed, but it stimulates even more potential replys - which can only make the site even more interesting for all of us :claphands:

I was amazed that some peoples threads had over 100 views but not one single reply or comment left

So instead of helping that old granny accross the road - make your good deed of the day a reply to an unanswered post - you never know it could make you famous some day

PS - how ironic would it be if no one replied to this thread

Hi Chris , I could not agree more  I went to the unanswer post list went to the last page and believe me there is a lot of them :dizzy: and i put a reply on one of nick drews first posts he put up in the first weeks the forum started back in 2007 and gave it its first reply.I have brought the same subject up a number of times, only to be told i am a $hit stirer and and others don't have to reply..Go and look at the member list and see how many zerros are beside their names in the post number collum .There is 25 names i think per page and every page has at least half with no posts. What happens when the very few of us that do post regularly run out of things to say .Gunna get awfully boring isn't it . I have had personal messages from some posters who say that they had all but given up because of the lack of interest. I have met some very good people throuigh this forum and most of the time it just ends up as a private conversation between two of us due to a seeming lack of interest .. It will be interesting to see how many lookers have a look at this thread and say nothing as usual. It is good to see some of the new members like local diggers , sean , and spike, getting in and partisapating. I know localdiggers had his same dummy spit about the same subject After a lot of posts and very few replys. Its NOT a forum if you talk to yourself all the time. ian.
