Hello all managed to logon at last due to some gremlins acting up, thanks to Holger here iam, new to this site, keen interest in plant expienced my first day as a dsm employee or self employee as it happens today! found this site researching dsm so thought i might join up and let people know how it all goes (if anyone is intersted of course) have looked in as a visitor many times and thought how nice it is to share an interest with other people so Hello. :wave:

Sorry forgot to hang around and tell you my particular faves.....
Euclid from the beginning through terex to when it all got a bit shiney and new.
Mr R.G Letournou (forgive my spelling) and his amazingly ugly but huge monsters.
Any scraper that has ever seen the light of day, towed or motored if only they could tell thier stories
Blades that looked like blades D9G (on the band wagon....) and those siamesed D9 monsters
Sorry but allthough essential the rops cab style and all slimlinenessness just dont cut it for me
the bench seat in a huge cab with those tiny windows up front is what its all about.
and lastly the DW type tractor especialy the one that pulled those huge scrapers, the noise must have been something else.
