Hi from Middlesbrough, Ian

Post #1 by ididntdoit73 » Mon Jul 21, 2014 9:32 am

Hi,
Just to say hi I'm new here.
I don't know a great deal about machinery but like to keep it running and seeing it been used.
My family own and operate a licensed ELV site so we have a couple of old machines.
First up is we have a Old Bonser LS45 fork lift, a old JCB 3C and this week we are borrowing from our neighbours a Preistman Mustang 2-15.
Oh and a old coles crane but we are looking to re-home that.
The Bonser underwent a full rebuild a few years ago and since then she runs sweet as a nut considering she has a hard life moving cars around on extended forks.
The 3C hasn't had much done and is just used for general jobs but does everything i ask of her.
The Coles crane used to be our main work horse but the pto has damaged the gearbox and has been parked up for at least 10 years now, she just gets moved around the yard now and then to give her a new view.
Any how enough rambling.
I have a problem with a Priestman machine, not sure if its how they were but she is slow on the hydraulics and seems under powered.
My 3C runs faster then the Priestman.
Any ideas?
Thanks Ian
Proud owner of JCB 3C and hopefully soon to own a Priestman 2-15

Welcome Ian, I have photographed that very machine on Cargo Fleet lane in Middlesbrough . We have a man here who knows a bit about Priestmans who may be in touch :)

The Machine belongs to ward Bros transport, Our yard is directly behind that near the go kart track.
She is nice enough to drive apart from the slow moves.
Thanks
