Hello all.
After some thought, and with the greatest respect to Holger and my fellow moderators and friends and indeed Julian on CEF, I will step down as moderator on CMN.
For those who don't know the FULL story. I, along with some CMN moderators and members have been threatened by a person that at present, cannot be named as he is under police investigation.
If anyone else has been threatened in ANY way please contact your moderator.
I don't like bullies in any form.
Please continue to enjoy this forum
Thank you all .
Martyn

Re: WEBSITES
Thanks mate
Holger has put a lot of time and money into this website.I did not want him to be dragged through all this rubbish. He deserves better.
I felt that there was so much negativity that was to the detriment of both forums.I am only interested in machinery and the friendships that are made from meeting lots of people from various parts of the country. It takes all sorts to make a world.
I sat back at first, this problem has been going on for a long time.I could see good friends getting fed up of the abuse they were getting. You would think that the best way to deal with it is to ignore it.Not easy.I have not posted on that site since early January.I have viewed it from time to time when I have been told of some silly comment.
The one thing that hurts is that some friends from the link club were not aware of the facts. The police told me not to have any conversation with the person making these threats.I , like you feel that you MUST stand up to bullies. This is hard to do when you get slagged off.
Roly D8k was spot on when he said "sticks and stones"
But when you are on the receving end of things its different.
It don't bother me if I an not a "director" or "usefull contact" of the Link club. But I tell you what,I will always support that club 100%.I was not at the AGM last year due to work commitments.
Did not even know I was still on the committee till I saw the first magazine of the year.
Please lets get back to talking machinery.
Regards
Martyn

What's CEF - City Electrical Factors or Central Funds of Canada
Just to confirm that I'm a Julian and not making any threats!

Re: WEBSITES
Sorry to hear your news Martyn. For someone who has made such a massive contribution to this forum, to feel threatened in this way is really sad, after all this board is only a hoppy/pastime.I hope you will continue to be a very active member and i look forward to many posts from you in the future.

Re: WEBSITES
Well Martyn - extremly sorry to hear of your unfortunate position. I've always enjoyed your posts and comments and know just how passionate you are in the field of machinery - especially tracked loaders . I give you a 21 Drott salute and hope to see you return to machinery cyber space in the future when all this nonscence has blown over. Good luck and God Bless m8
