Server-downtime Wednesday July 8 at 6 oclock GMT

Post #1 by Holger » Tue Jul 07, 2009 9:34 pm

There will be a harddisk switch tomorrow morning.
The server will be turned off for some minutes.

So, use the time, get a cup of coffee and relax.
We will be up and running again ASAP!

You are spot on there Jeremy  ..make a note when the site is running slow for you, and you might see a pattern, like you might see that the site runs slower after corrie or eastenders :dizzy:

Well I have recently switched to broadband (at long last) and I have of course gained the benefit of a faster response and its made my life so much easier posting pictures.
That being said I still have been online when the site suddenly seams to go slow, I thought it was just me or my setup but John345me also commented that he had experienced similar problems?
Oh well I don't think the problem is at Holgers end of the line.

Well it CAN be on my side ... that is why I asked if "is it loading the header and the stop for some seconds?"
