A few pics of some Cat 773B in trouble when working at Lee Moor China Clay works back in the 1980's. First pic of a rolled truck, second set are of a truck that got stuck under a sand conveyor belt after the operator left the dump body up after coming down off the tip.According to Phil they were waving arms about to try and get his attention to the fact that he had left his dump body up but the operator thought they were just waving at him so he waved back . I've been told that the belt was buckled all the way up due to a shock wave travelling through the steelwork and production was out for about 12 weeks for conveyor repair.
Thanks to my work mate Phil Nicholson for taking these pictures and for letting me borrow them. .

Chris, He got demoted to cleaning the canteen at Marsh mills refinery about 4 miles down the road, and ECLP/ECC still payed him his normal pay plus petrol money to drive down there to do it . The good old day's eh, not like today when you would be down the road before you could get your dinner bag .
