Re: Terex TR100s
It dropped to -5 C last night on the yard here, these girls took a fair bit of starting, but after a bit of patience we got there. Ran out of start pilot (Cold start system), so had to resort to jumper pack and air cleaners out and a squirt of "gypsys breath" (easy start) down the air lines.
Ran them up for a while to warm and mix the oils, then took oil samples from main compartments, engine, transmission, hydraulics, steering, left & right final drives and the Diffs. Not enough room to run them round the yard so axle oils not as mixed up as id like for a good sample, oil not warm either, so was a bit slow filling the sample bottle.
Whilst on yard took a couple of pics of 2 new 777Fs but camera died, so will take a few more later.

Re: Terex TR100s
Years ago i used to work on various coal sites in Scotland where 3311CsDs and Es were the order of the day.The 3311Cs were all Detriot V16 motors on air start. No batteries just a good compressor!
at that time 777s and 777Bs were on the scene. Also there were a few old 769Bs and 773As owned by RJ Levack. They were good trucks.
