777 being assembled

Post #1 by SRB » Thu Dec 06, 2007 7:45 pm

Inside our new prep workshop, another 777 being built, over 40 new 777's have gone out this year, unbelievable as only 4-5 years ago we thought we'd be lucky if we sold 2 a year as the market had declined.

Also shots of the skip after being welded up (it comes in 3 parts) now the body liner going in.

Hi Stuart,
Are all the parts for the 777 made in US, or is there any local content ?
I'm also surprised at the number being sold in UK, I didn't think all that much muck was being shifted these days.
Our local cement works have recently changed from Cat to Komatsu kit, hope they don't live to regret it.

Thanks for the great photos.
