AVELING BARFORD GA ROLLER

Post #1 by martyn williams » Fri Jul 13, 2007 1:55 pm

I have got the roller running,I fitted the refurbished magneto and after an hour adjusting the engine timing the engine burst into life, the first time in two years. Its been too wet to take it for a test run.It even sounds like an old Ford Pop car. Will give it a good workout, then respray and line it out into its "as new " condition. This roller is in fantastic condition,I guess its done little work since built
Has anyone got photos of a GA roller?

I have just received nameplates for my roller. It will be named HOLLY after my daughter.A friend who is on the committee of the RRA made the pattern and they have been cast in brass. They will look great on the roller, cant wait to start on my projects. My foot is on the mend but is still a bit painfull. Will post pictures soon.
