Hi Richard,
If I'm not mistaken the Volvo branded pavers are actually the old ABG/IR Titan line - so are Blaw Knox being marketed in the US market as BK but owned by Volvo??? The factory is not at the old bK location of Mattoon though

I'm not sure Ian,
At the foot of the page it states" Blaw Knox™ is a registered trademark of Volvo Construction Equipment North America."
I will dig a bit more

I looked up the other name at the foot of the page, are they just using the Blaw Knox name?

http://www.volvoce.com/constructionequipment/corporate/en-gb/AboutUs/history/products/Pavers/Pages/introduction.aspx

Pavers
The Blaw-Knox paving history started 1929 with the purchase of A W French and Co. French, at that time manufactured concrete paving equipment including the "ORD" paver.
Volvo Construction Equipment concluded the acquisition of US based Ingersoll Rand's road development equipment division in 2007

Blaw-Knox was bought by Ingersoll Rand? And later Ingersoll Rand was bought by Volvo.

Maybe the chaps who are still involved in the game may know more, any thoughts guys?
I wont be near a pc next week, but i will mail the company to see what info i can get.
I am just surprised to see the kit in BK colours, unless Volvo get better sales in the U.S.A. by doing it.

Hello Richard ,good find, looks like shades of BK191 a little . Looking at the technical info they have stuck with the Murphy switch for low oil pressure etc , but have they kept the BK strong point....slewing brakes.Hopper doors don"t look quite right ,maybe thats influenced by LeeBoy ,I think they are big in America but I have never seen LeeBoy in England, but nice see to somebody has the passion to get this famous brand back in the market place. :claphands: Regards Neil
