Hello Everyone
I work at a High school in Cheshire and we have a Aveling-Bradford GAY series diesel roller that the school have used to roll the cricket grounds over the years.
The School now want to sell it, now no one has any idea what it could possibly be worth, me included, so thats why I am turing to you guys to point me in the right direction.
it needs some TLC if i am honest, but after doing some research, I beleive the old girl could be over 50 years old!
thanks for reading!

Re: Aveling-Bradford GAY Diesel Roller REF number GA2099
These are great rollers built in the 1950's. Mine is 1953 and fitted with a Ford petrol engine. The rollers were fitted with various engines that were specified by the order.
With that number I would guess 1954 .
Any photos ?
The Aveling Barford rollers started with the smallest GA up to the 8 tonners GD. then onto the "Master paviors " in the late 60 /70''s on
Worth unrestored £800 ish to restored £1500 to £2000
