Re: Hastings Best Attractions-Dozer Pics
Hi, Major V8.
Thanks for sharing. I get the impression that they are all boat ramp crawlers, used for launching and retrieving boats of various sizes on beaches. I think I 'smell' a D6B, a Fowler Challenger 33, 2 or 3 Track Marshals, one that looks like it might be an IH and one that I have to confess puzzles me a bit, the 7th photo, the crawler with the round-topped cab. Could it be another Track Marshall or did somebody sneak one in from behind the Iron Curtain?
Thanks again.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Hello Lloyd and Deas Plant
Thanks for posting, its nice to see these old tractors.
I have to dissagree on the Cat. Its a D4D. If you zoom in you can see it on the tank, I think its the LGP (low ground pressure) model.
The 5th. photo. looks like a TM56 from the position of the exhaust and air cleaner (old boot).
The 7th. photo is an early TM55, not a Russian Interloper. Altho it had a blade it is the agricultural moddel because it only has 4 not 5 bottom rollers. I think the round top shed on it is a "SunTrack Ltd." cab.
Photos 6 & 9 are TM70's

Great pics, a living dozer museum , Fishermen in the NE all use Fordson Majors, in one spot near me there are 30 parked, all in use, every variant . The County and Roadless models have dissapeared though , wonder why !
Not all those who wander are lost.
