Ive heard a whispa that Banks have been looking at the D11 (thompsons old one ) to buy for there site at shotton along with 3 cat 637c not surer how true it is like

I hope your rumours are correct Macca1, i can then pop up to Shotton and get some snaps of it pushing those 637's. The last time i was up there the scraper fleet had gone! I suppose there will be more top soil stripping to be done at a later date as the mine gets more established.

Get to Tow Law as UK Coal will be stripping that new site soon may not be scrapers like as its a wet hole up there and one at ashington area too

I thought there have been 4 x 11's in the UK working.

1 x D11n - Stokey
1 x D11n - Thompsons
1 x D11n - Crouch
1 x D11R - Stokey

Maybe wrong, but Stokey never had a 11N, original D10 yes.

Can't comment on the Crouch N either but again think this may be an original D10.......

Crouch did have a D11 at stobswood open cast in the 90s now in the usa i think
