Allis-Chalmers HD4

Post #1 by Shovelman » Sat Jun 20, 2009 1:27 am

I ran across this little thing this week. Too bad I didn't have my camera with me the day I found it working. It seemed to run really well considering it's appearance. I returned the next day; camera in hand, but nobody was around.

Personally, I haven't seen one of these around here for years. Hopefully; someone will enjoy the photos.

Hi John,
Thanks for sharing those pics.
I've only ever seen one other HD4,& it had an outside blade.I always wanted to own one in this configuration, but they are not easily found here.
I'm constantly amazed (& glad)that non ROPS machines can still get work in "public" areas.

 Jim
