Hello Nick, don't realy effect us :( but we are so short on cover I ended working my rest days. When the cut in jobs at the end of March I don't know how we will cover the work as two of us will be covering Wales and the west and up as far as Bromsgrove and across to Didcot :dizzy:

Hello Nick
A lot of firms are using the downturn just to get rid of staff even if they are needed. The firm I workfor is top heavy with managers. They don't even turn up on callouts. We don't mind that as most have not got a clue on how to sort problems out anyway
Spending the week off working on the D4 and moving things around in the garden as the work starts on the drainage in a couple of weeks. The wife will go mad as we will have my machines on oneside and the contractors machines on the other.
I will post photos on that job.I only have to turn around from this keyboard to see the work being done 10 yards away.Heaven

Helo Martyn

Saw your heading (Dozer and Roller) Thought it might be a good place to post this foto.
My Fowler 33 and roller. Pic. taken a few years ago at Ystrad Mynach.
She was new to the Forretry Commission in 1956. I bought her 18 years ago and
she is still working a tip localy.
