Good pics there Roly, the classic stuff carries the full Cat warranty, but thats not the point, as you dont want to be back in there, even for a warranty claim. I hope that they have got the balance between 'Toffee and glass' right when they did the heat treament on those gears.!

Hi Dave, yes i hope they got it right,if not :doh:i,ll know for future reference, hows
that eartmove coming on,i hear you got an RB dragline for the job i,d love to see you
sling that bucket out  please post some pictures up,good luck mate

Hi YI,How are you getting on with the muckshift?P.S David Cairnes has some D6 winch bits for sale in Lanark,Scotland.I bought a 435G off him years ago.he's ok to deal with but he's not to be confused with Davy Kerr of Scotland.

Hi Nicky and Roly, the job is crawling along due to the bl*^$y weather. it now only rains twice a week.........once from sunday to wednesday and again from thursday to saturday.

Roly, I got no probs driving a Navvy or casting the bucket out!.just another of my many skills.(he he!).............pics to follow

Nicky, thanks, I now have all the levers etc for that 25 ccu for the D6.I just havent had the time to fit it yet and cant tie it up on a box as it is needed on the blade
