Hi,
Every time I have seen a D9R or T being transported it is on a few more axels than this. Is it a case that this truck is more than capable of carrying a dozer of size but our road axle limits wouldn't allow it?
Dave.

Are you sure thats a D9 I am not familiar wit a D 9 R or T but I would guess they would be as big or bigger than a D 9G and they hang over the tray edge a lot on a standard tray maybe the trailer is bigger than Im used to seeing

It is a D9T, looks a bit precarious sat up on that trailer! wouldn't want to go round a bend to quick!
Looks like it may be used for pulling it around site to save tracking it>?

That D9L would be even bigger than the D9T - similar to the D10R I would think. Seems strange seeing it on a 3-axle trailer and standard tractor?!

Not really, VOSA have yet to get enough air miles to hit the continent.
A D8L is about the same as a D9T I believe, here is an 8L awaiting a paint job as a comparison

I wonder what the go with this blade is the machine wouldnt have trouble pushing the blade full I would think
notice how this one hangs out side the track unlike the first D9 so there must be quite a size difference between them

Re: D9T Transportation
I don't understand what you're saying Paul. I think you mean why is the blade on the 9 narrow. It's a cushion blade for pushing scrapers. The blades are narrow to miss the tyres and have rubber mounts on the top to take the constant ding out of buttoning up.
Is this what you meant.
