Back in the day dad started out as a 15 year old running an identicle machine. He said on cold mornings the TD 18s started when everything else wouldnt. THe only draw backs to the Bucyrus Erie blade was they were super slow. He said one mush have a good starting spot not to do some fancy work. He also the company he worked for had some that had Baker blades that were slow to. He went on to say that the best grading ones were the cable blades and some that had 2 cable towers set up like the BE blade. There was one near Oxford MS back in 98 that was reowered with an Inline six Ford tractor motor and had an Issacson straight blade on it with a single centered blade cylinder. THe old man that had it moved a 2 huge hills with it.
