TD9B Track seals

Post #1 by AussieMF » Wed Jan 13, 2010 1:07 pm

Can anybody point me in the right direction for new track tensioner seals for the grease pump up tensioners on my tracks on my TD9B. I don't mind if they are overseas I am happy to pay freight if the prices are right. I have not removed the old seal yet so don't know if it is able to be matched up at a hydraulic or bearing shop. If it is anything like my MF200 drott, they are quite unique.

You could try your first option and try to get a set fron a seal/bearing supplier. There is a good chance of getting a set. Also try the Redpower boys.Rocko 59 is the one to ask,he has just joined us on this site.He has a wealth of knowledge and may be able to suggest a supplier.
Also Ebay, sometimes you may get lucky.I have some new IH seals but would need measurments of your original ones.
Also try Barry Welch, Staines Middlesex.
Good luck

Hi Ash,
I have usually had success with local seal suppliers.
Also check the rod is in good order...if they are corroded, grease will slip past.
I hope that fixes your problem.

Jim
