I dont know if any of these is of interest for you:

I have a Volvo 3,5 ton digger. I was contracted to dig for some electricity cables to twenty+ country cottages. I was told it was a regular summer house area. I imagined passable roads etc but found nothing but cottages in a forest. No roads, just rocks, hills and messy forest roads that where destroyed by foresters and big Huddig backloaders.
We even had to transport fuel and cable tubes by boat!
At one place I had to climb up a steep hill, it was so steep that the tracks slid all the time and I couldnt get a grip for the bucket. I had to tie the bucket to a pine to get up. I saw everything from marshy ground to bedrock.
I have some spectacular photos but I dont know if the quality is good enough for your use.

I have been doing some footings for houses, those jobs are considered to big for minis but I have done them. And I have soem photos.

I have a few (very few) photos from concrete demolition jobs and rock blasting jobs using a hydraulic hammer.
Talking about blasting, what about some photos of the digger when used in blasting rocks with the Boulder Buster?

Nick,

thanks for your comments. Been a tough year but we have combined the Irish and UK magazines at present.

Robban, would love to come over to Sweden but it's time and money that's not so easy! Perhaps drop me a PM with your email and I'll drop you one so you can send me the photos back? The Huddig would be of most interest as haven't seen one over here yet.

James, i tried to attach a few pics to the pm so you could see if the quality was good enough. The size and resolution where originally made for CMN so I dont know of they are good enough for you.
Anyway, I didnt manage to attach the pics to the PM so here are a few ones so you can download them and check if they will do.

I sent him a few pics but never heard anything more from him. Don´t know what happened. :dizzy:
Maybe the pics wasn´t good enough.
I might pic some of my most "horrible" pictures and make a thread of it some day.

Yes, that job was almost ONLY rocky ground for several weeks. A real pin in the a**.
The area could be reached from the south and the north end. When I was in the middle and returned to the south end it took med 3 hours to get out (1,5 km) with the digger because it took so long time climbing over stumps, between big rocks and "swimming" through swamp areas.
