This was a job we did just before Christmas in Nuneaton, it was a victorian-era hospital building. The rest of it was 2 and 3-story height and this lift-shaft was a much later after thought. We actually had the high-reach arm on the job and was toying with the idea of putting it on but in the end we went with the ramp.

The stock pile area for the crusher was about the same place as where we constructed the ramp so it worked out well, not much double-handling.

Heres a few more pics anyway:

For locals to myself it may interest you that ARMAC are currently involved in more demolition work around West Bromwich town centre, this pic shows one of two machines that are currently tearing down the old Hilti factory and there are quite a few other buildings in the area that are also due to go.

Part of West Bromwich is now well and truly under re-development and ARMAC have been clearing large areas of land for.................
you guessed it a new Tesco.
Here's a few pics of a Komatsu PC450 on the remains of N.S. Garage, the new police station is well under construction on the other side of town as Tesco have given £2m towards the project as the old police station will form part of their carpark. :o

Sam I think that there are still quite a few companies out there that are feeling the economic pinch, and when they have no work for larger machines of such a specialized nature they try and raise hard capital by selling them.

Yeh, I'd imagine that would be a job in Wakefield we have.
