Yes John I thought it did look kinda old fashioned to use the girder in that way and reminded me of a pic of an old Hymac 580B with a purpose built steel demo arm on it being used to demo some old houses.
Told you it was very entertaining though hey I'm goin back tomorrow.

Re: James Hudson
And for todays offering........ a few more intersting shots.
This demo job has turned quite a few local heads because of the historic value to the area, one local resident who was talking to the workers said she had worked there for over 18 years and her father had worked there before her.
And now I'll bet you can guess what the land is going to be used for
Well with the credit crunch it ain't gonna be housing and being as we don't make anything over here anymore it ain't gonna be another factory so whats that leave
Morrisons
Say no more........

That picture of the doosan on its tippy toes is absolutely awesome! I love pics like that! I think im beginning too like the new look of the doosan machines!
Great pics as always, It would be interesting if you could get some pics of the whole process of the build of the new morrison's.....Especially when they are digging the new footprint and pads of it! I always find looking at pictures of that stage of jobs really interesting that and deep drainage pictures are always welcomed!

Re: James Hudson
I may not have time to visit this site again before the job is complete, there wasn't an awful lot left when I came away today, will have to see if I can get some pics when they start to build the Morissons there.
Last pic "happy faces" three of the lads from the site.
