Well the Car Park is not coming down just yet but the shops around it are.
The Komatsu 750 is fitted with a OKADA TS-W1100V Crusher this has been lent to Thompsons By Komatsu who have told them to try and brake it. Some of Komatsu people will be coming to see it working.

Do they use that fire tender above as a means of dust suppression?

Yes, they've just done a big job at British Steel Lackenby where it was used a lot.Couldn't get near enough for a photo though unfortunately.

ex brown and masons pc750, thompsons bought this because the delivery time on the cat 385 they were going to order was longer than they could wait, this particular machine has spent a lot of time in the area having brought down blyth power station when that job was on the go..

Micko: did you take those pictures? A couple of weeks when I was up there, couldn't see much with all that fencing in the way. Just wondering if they ever move them out the way.

Bad news though, it seems once the real demolition work begins, Tesco carpark will be closed. They sure are not making access for "onlookers" very easy to say the least...

Think I'll take a walk up there this weekend!
Look out that window, Eden isn't burning. Its burnt.
