Cosslett Contractors

Post #1 by tim » Sun Oct 19, 2008 4:51 pm

Cosslett Contractors of Pontypridd demolished the Weaver mill in Swansea in the winter of 1983/4. The mill was the first multi-storey reinforced concrete frame building to be built in Britain.

Great period pictures, Tim.
This looks like the same company who moved Martyn's D4 and Chaseside

Yes John it is the same person.Barry has helped me for many years in supplying machines for our vintage shows. He came down to Devon with Karl and I to see my mates machines,he then bought the Chaseside and also liked the 955,his main reason for his trip with us.I had first refusal on the D4 so beat him to it  .He is also an ACMOC member,he took us to Russel Saywells working day this year.I will tell him about those photos.
